Abstract:
Provided are a bolt and nut that can accurately detect axial force on a shank, and does not require complicated work or an increase in work time. The bolt (1) is provided with a shank (2), a head (3) provided to one end of the shank (2), and a detection unit (7). The head (3) has a strain section (5C, 6) that is a portion in the axial direction of the shank (2), has a lower Young's modulus or a lower thickness than the other portions of the head (3), and that warps more than the other portions as a result of an axial force on the shank (2). The detection unit (7) detects the strain at the strain section (5C, 6) in accordance with the axial force on the shank (2).
