Abstract:
A bolt (1) having a bolt body (2) and a ring-shaped member (3). The bolt body (2)
is provided with a screw thread (5), a head (6) formed on the upper end section of
the screw thread (5), and a flange (7) formed on the lower end section of the head
(6). The ring-shaped member (3) is made of an electrically non-conductive resin
and covers the outer periphery of the flange (7). The flange (7) has a disk-shaped
flange body (71) and a seat surface forming section (72) having a seat surface
(73) made to be in pressure contact with a target installation portion for the
bolt (1). The ring-shaped member (3) has formed on it an edge (31) located below
the seat surface (73), at a position on the screw thread (5) side outside the flange
body section (7), and also has an annular skirt section (32) expanded in diameter
toward the edge (31). The annular skirt section (32) is deformed when the bolt
is installed in a target installation portion to form an annular liquid-tight
seal section on the target installation section. When the bolt (1) is installed
in a metal molded product where electrolytic corrosion is likely to occur, the
seat surface (73) can hold axial force of the bolt (1), and the bolt (1) can reliably
prevents entry of liquid into an installation section of the metal mold product
and electrolytic corrosion of the metal mold product.
