Abstract:

Provided is a bolt capable of more effectively preventing seizure resulting from the bolt being introduced at an angle without increasing the length of the bolt below the neck thereof. A guiding section 12 is present on an extension of the same helical line as the thread groove 13B of a thread section 13, and is formed between a groove section 14, which is formed on the leading end of the thread section 13 so that the depth thereof in the radial direction is deeper than the thread groove 13B, and the position of the base end edge of a tapered surface 11. If the intersection between the position of the base end edge of the tapered surface 11 and the helical line of the groove section 14 is the starting end 12a, the shape of the guiding section 12 is a shape that extends from the starting end 12a to a terminal end 12b in the direction that circles the axis of the bolt and expands in the axial direction of the bolt with movement from the starting end 12a to the terminal end 12b. The guiding section 12 and the thread section 13 are formed to be continuous by overlapping the leading end of the thread section 13 on the terminal end 12b of the guiding section 12. The range of the guiding section 12 is set to be in the angular range of 90-360° from the starting end 12a in the direction around the axis of the bolt.
