Abstract:

[Problem] To address the problem of providing a bone conduction speaker which, although a bone conduction speaker, improves high-frequency response by adding a structure with which it is possible to generate an air-passage sound, and, therefore, even when worn by a person with normal hearing, not just a hearing-impaired person, not only enables the wearer to exchange at an excellent sound level, but also enables the wearer to enjoy high-quality music on an occasion of listing to music. [Solution] A second diaphragm (3) is secured to the bottom of a bone conduction speaker unit (2) incorporated in a housing (1), and the periphery of the second diaphragm (3) is secured, over the entire circumference thereof, to the inner surface of the housing (1), whereby an upper air chamber (4) is formed on the upper side thereof and a lower air chamber (5) is formed on the lower side thereof, with a sound emission opening (6) formed on the side or bottom surface of the lower air chamber (5).
