Abstract:
[Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of providing a bone conduction speaker, with which a high range that cannot be covered by bone vibration can be efficiently made audible by transmitting an air-conducted sound generated by a diaphragm through the eardrum. [Solution] A bone conduction speaker is obtained by loading a yoke assembly 4 in a container 2 of a unit case 1. The container 2 is provided with a first diaphragm 5 disposed on an upper portion thereof and a second diaphragm 6 installed on a lower portion thereof. The yoke assembly 4 is installed on the second diaphragm 6, and a voice coil 10 is installed on the rear surface of the first diaphragm 5. A space in a lid portion on the upper side of the first diaphragm 5 serves as an air-conducted sound generation chamber 11. A part of a lid portion 3 is opened to form a sound discharge port 12. An air-conducted sound generated in the air-conducted sound generation chamber 11 by vibration of the first diaphragm 5 can be discharged through the sound discharge port 12 in a direction substantially orthogonal to a vibration direction of the bone conduction speaker.
