Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a bone-strengthening composition having the effect of promoting increase of osteoblasts, having the effect of suppressing bone resorption due to osteoclasts, and being effective for the prevention or treatment of various bone diseases such as osteoporosis, bone fractures, rheumatism, and arthritis; foods and feed containing the composition; and bone-strengthening products such as medicines. A bone-strengthening composition that includes bacterial cells and/or culture materials belonging to lactobacillus, lactococcus, or Bifidobacterium; and bone-strengthening foods and beverages, a bone-strengthening nutritional composition, a bone-strengthening feed, or a bone-strengthening medical product characterized by containing the bone-strengthening composition.
