INVENTION DESCRIPTION

1. FIELD OF APPLICATION

The invention relates to book with integrated sound reproduction device.

In the International Patent Classification, it is classified as Section B - Performing operations; Class B42 - Special printed matter; Subclass B42D - Books, Book covers; Group B42D3/00 - Book covers; Subgroup 3/12 - combined with other articles; or Section G - Physics; Class G1 1 - Information storage.

2. TECHNICAL PROBLEM

The problem is that presently on the market there is no unique product that would combine music, text and/or photography into a single interactive unit.

The technical problem solved by this invention relates to the book that, besides the standard textual and illustrative contents printed on its leaves, simultaneously enables the user to listen to voice and music recordings related to the book contents topic.

3. STATE OF THE ART

No like book with integrated sound reproduction device is known to exist. The closest products are children picture-books playing a single melody. However, such products do not have integrated a device able to reproduce several music or voice recordings. 4. ESSENCE OF THE INVENTION

The essence of the invention is the book with integrated sound reproduction device.

The book with integrated sound reproduction device has covers and leaves with printed textual and illustrative contents. In the book covers and spine there is fitted the device that reproduces sound recordings related to the book contents. The visible parts of the sound reproduction device are monitor and navigation button. With regard to location of the monitor and the navigation button, the book with integrated sound reproduction device is designed in three variants:

- book with integrated sound reproduction device with the monitor and the navigation button in the back cover of the book with integrated sound reproduction device;

- book with integrated sound reproduction device with the monitor in the back cover and the navigation button at the spine of the book with integrated sound reproduction device;

- book with integrated sound reproduction device with the monitor and the navigation button at the spine of the book with integrated sound reproduction device.

In all the three variants, in the spine of the book with integrated sound reproduction device there are fitted socket for earphones, in the upper part, and battery recharge socket, in the lower part of the book spine.

The book with integrated sound reproduction device, from the outside, looks like any classic book with covers and leaves, so that to a person taking the book with integrated sound reproduction device into his hands for the first time it appears like a common book.

The book with integrated sound reproduction device, as shown in the Fig.1 to Fig.4, has hard covers, and leaves with printed textual and illustrative contents. In the book covers and spine there is fitted the sound reproduction device. The sound reproduction device reproduces sound recordings from stored digitalised audio files which are topically related to the contents of the book, and together with the printed contents of the book make a single interactive unit.

The book with integrated sound reproduction device contains printed contents and digitalised voice and/or music files, intended for reading and listening.

In the covers and the spine of the book with integrated sound reproduction device there are fitted parts of the sound reproduction device that enables audio reproduction of sound recordings.

Visible parts of the sound reproduction device are monitor and navigation button. The navigation button is for activation and searching of audio files. Selected audio files are displayed on the monitor by their numbers and titles.

With regard to the monitor and navigation button location, the book with integrated sound reproduction device is embodied in three variants:

- variant A, Fig.5 to Fig.7 - book with integrated sound reproduction device with monitor 5 and navigation button 6 on mobile console 7 placed in back cover 2 of the book with integrated sound reproduction device;

- variant B, Fig.8 to Fig.12 - book with integrated sound reproduction device with navigation button 6 on mobile console 7 placed in back cover 2, and with monitor 9 on spine 4 of the book with integrated sound reproduction device; - variant C, Fig.13 to Fig.15 - book with integrated sound reproduction device with monitor 9 and navigation button 10 placed on spine 4 of the book with integrated sound reproduction device.

At front side of back cover 2 of the book with integrated sound reproduction device, variant A, Fig.5 and Fig.6, there is fitted button 8. When button 8 is pressed, mobile console 7, with monitor 5 and navigation button 6, is automatically drawn from back cover 2, Fig.7.

At front side of back cover 2 of the book with integrated sound reproduction device, variant B, Fig.8 and Fig.9, there is fitted button 8. When button 8 is pressed, mobile console 7, with navigation button 6, is automatically drawn from back cover 2.

When handling the audio files is finished, mobile console 7 is manually pushed back into back cover 2.

In all three variants, A, B and C, of the book with integrated sound reproduction device, in the upper part of the book with integrated sound reproduction device, inside the spine 4, there is fitted socket 1 1 for earphones 12 and loudspeaker, and in the lower part of the book with integrated sound reproduction device, inside the spine 4, there is fitted socket 13 for cable 14 for recharging the battery of the sound reproduction device, Fig.16 and Fig.17. This way the earphone/loudspeaker connector does not obstruct when the book with integrated sound reproduction device is held in the user's lap or on his knees.

The sound reproduction device, which is integrated in the book, can also be controlled by a remote controller with separate power supply, and the very device can be connected wirelessly to external sound reproduction units such as loudspeakers, headphones, hi-fi systems and like. The book with integrated sound reproduction device according to this invention makes a unique interactive unit and a new platform for music, art and educational publishing.

The book with integrated sound reproduction device, according to this invention, is applicable in music, arts and educational publishing. A particular application will be about a completely new way of publishing of music albums that would, when published in this way, become a much more complex product of much larger commercial potential relative to the existing music CDs, and about publishing music biographies, that would be designed in a completely new way. The book with integrated sound reproduction device may contain text and music, poetry collections with sound recordings of poetry readings, or novels with certain sound backgrounds. The book with integrated sound reproduction device is also applicable as photograph albums with accompanying music, and in education, from learning foreign languages and music, to learning heart murmurs.

Experts will find it obvious that shape and size of the book with integrated sound reproduction device and distribution of the parts of the sound reproduction device in the book can be designed and produced in other adequate way, without thereby affecting the essence of the invention.
