Abstract:
A boost PFC control device (1) provided with an AC switch bridge circuit (101) for executing a full-wave rectification on AC voltage (Va), and a boost circuit for boosting the rectified voltage (Vr) that has been full-wave rectified, wherein: the AC switch bridge circuit is provided with AC switches (11-14) and an AC switch control circuit (54) for controlling the on/off state of the AC switches; and when the voltage between the gate and source exceeds a threshold voltage, the AC switches send current between the drain and source according to the polarity of the voltage between the drain and source, and when the voltage between the gate and source drop to or below the threshold voltage, the AC switches block current from flowing from the drain to the source, and send current from the source to the drain when the gate voltage reaches or exceeds the threshold voltage relative to the drain voltage.
