Abstract:
[Problem] To minimize fluctuations in rotational torque per one rotation of an electric motor in a booster compressor with an integrated electric motor, while making it possible to increase output of said booster compressor and conserve energy. [Solution] A pair of compressor units (11a, 11b) are connected to each side of an electric motor casing (16), said compressor units each containing an integrally connected cylinder head (28a, 28b), cylinder (12a, 12b), and crank casing (14a, 14b). Each end of the output shaft (36) of an electric motor (20) housed in the electric motor casing (16) is connected to a crank shaft (17a, 17b) in the compressor units, and the crank arms (18a, 18b) of each compressor unit are connected to the output shaft (36) with an angular difference within the range of 150-210° to one another. The stroke position of the pistons (38a, 38b) in the compressor units are completely opposite to one another.
