Abstract:
The present invention provides a novel compound which can have the property of being specifically taken into cancer cells. Produced in the present invention is a novel 4-borono-phenylalanine derivative, a borono-phenylalanine derivative having a heterocyclic skeleton, a borono-phenylalanine derivative having a condensed ring structure, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of any of these. In an evaluation of LAT1- and LAT2-specific intake, these compounds are LAT1-specifically taken in, and thus have the property of being easily specifically taken into cancer cells and can be used favorably in neutron capture therapy and the like. Representatively, provided is a compound represented by formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
