Abstract:

Provided are borosilicate glass and a glass tube, which are used for a medicament container, have excellent qualities in terms of appearance, and in particular have a small number of air lines. The present invention is characterized by containing, in mass%, 70.0-78.0% of SiO2, 5.0-8.0% of Al2O3, 5.0-12.0% of B2O3, 0-4.0% of CaO, 0-4.0% of BaO, 4.0-8.0% of Na2O, 0-5.0% of K2O, and 0.001-1.0% of SnO2.
