Abstract:
A bottle-shaped can is provided such that thickness reduction and weight reduction can be achieved without compromising buckling strength. Between a coupler section 11 and a shoulder section 8, an S-shaped bead section 12 and a straight section 13 having a constant outer diameter are formed in this order from the coupler section 11 side. The S-shaped bead section 12 has: a convex bead part 12a which is formed continuing from a concave part 11b and has a larger outer diameter than the concave part 11b; and a concave bead part 12b which is formed continuing from the lower side of the convex bead part 12a and recessing inward of a neck section 6 and which has a cross-sectional shape symmetrical with respect to the cross-sectional shape of the convex bead part 12a. The straight section 13 is formed continuing from the lower side of the concave bead part 12b and having a length of 1 mm to 7 mm in the center axis direction of the neck section 6 between the concave bead part 12b and the shoulder section 8.
