Title:
BOTTOM PERIPHERY LENGTH ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/065425
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a bottom periphery length adjustment mechanism that is capable of being used for apparel, in the case of which extreme importance is attached to appearance design. This length adjustment mechanism is equipped with a slide adjuster. The slide adjuster consists of a band and a buckle which are made of synthetic resin. An engagement claw of the buckle is engaged with a serrated engagement groove formed on the outer surface of the band. In a state where the claw of the buckle is thus engaged, the band is capable of freely approaching the buckle but is incapable of retracting therefrom. The buckle is fixed to the backside of the bottom. When the band approaches the buckle, the periphery of the bottom shrinks. When the band moves away from the buckle, the periphery of the bottom expands.
