Abstract:
According to this invention, an area of projection as viewed from a direction perpendicularly intersecting a direction of rotation of a bow (11) for a flyer is reduced, i.e., a trapezoidal shape in section is formed, whereby air resistance is decreased without lowering the productivity. With this arrangement, even in a process of manufacturing a steel cord for reinforcing rubber, energy is saved, thus improving the efficiency of energy.
