A box-shaped device (1100), comprising a box body (1200) and a charging support (1300). The box body (1200) comprises side plates (1210) located on four sides in the circumferential direction and a bottom plate (1220) located on the bottom surface, which are combined together; the charging support (1300) is disposed in the box body (1200); the charging support (1300) comprises a plurality of posts (1310) and beams (1320); the bottoms of the posts (1310) are connected to the bottom plate (1220); and the tops of the posts (1310) are connected to the side plates (1210) by means of the beams (1320). The present application also relates to a battery swapping station or energy storage station comprising the box-shaped device (1100). The box-shaped device (1100) has a simple structure, is stable and reliable, and can accommodate more battery packs. The top of the box body (1200) is open, and no top plate is provided, such that the box-shaped device (1100) can be communicated with other spaces above, thereby allowing a battery swapping device to move unhindered along the height direction of the box-shaped device (1100), thus improving battery swapping efficiency of the battery swapping station or the energy storage station.
