Abstract:
A box-type transformer with a signal surge protector, the transformer comprising an electrical primary main loop (1) and a signal/communication loop (2), wherein the electrical primary main loop (1) is connected to the signal/communication loop (2); the signal/communication loop (2) comprises a signal surge protector (3) and a protection measurement and control device (4); and the electrical primary main loop (1) is connected to the protection measurement and control device (4) by means of the signal surge protector (3) for limiting and releasing surges that enter the signal/communication loop. With regard to the product, the signal surge protector is applied to the interior of the box-type transformer of a new energy electric field, and the signal surge protector is connected in series to the signal loop and the communication loop of the protection measurement and control device of the box-type transformer, such that the protection measurement and control device of the box-type transformer has the function of signal surge protection, and when the signal loop and the communication loop of the protection measurement and control device of the box-type transformer generate or sense a surge, the protection measurement and control device can be protected, and safe operation of the protection measurement and control device is ensured.
