Abstract:
A boxing apparatus (100) for boxing bags of predetermined weight or a predetermined
number of bags comprises a collecting section (5), a group weight checker (6),
a control section (10), and a boxing/sealing section (7). The collecting section
(5) collects bags and makes a group of bags. The group weight checker (6) weighs
the group of bags. The control section (10) judges appropriateness to box the
group of articles on the basis of the weight value measured by the group weight
checker (6). The boxing/sealing section (7) boxes groups of bags each of which
is judged appropriate to be boxed by the control section (10). With this, a failure
that there is a missing article is detected before boxing and an appropriate measure
can be taken. As the result, the boxing apparatus operates less wastefully than
conventional boxing apparatuses which judge appropriateness of the weight
of bags (the number of those) after completion of the boxing and reject the whole
box whose inappropriateness is found out from its production line.
