Abstract:
The present invention provides a use of BPI-Fc fusion protein in preparation of a medicine for treating drug-resistant gram-negative bacterial infections. The BPI-Fc fusion protein contains a human BPI functional fragment and a human immunoglobulin heavy chain constant region Fc or an allele thereof. The BPI-Fc fusion protein can directly kill drug-resistant gram-negative bacteria and kill same by means of complement activation and opsonophagocytosis, and can be used for preparing a pharmaceutical composition for treating the drug-resistant gram-negative bacterial infections. The present invention further provides an expression vector of a BPI-Fc γ1 fusion protein which serves as a medicine for treating the drug-resistant gram-negative bacterial infections, and a preparation method therefor.
