Abstract:
A protective clothing device for protecting a person's chest area against trauma caused by impact or penetration comprises a sports bra structure having two breast contacting areas and a protective material disposed therebetween. The protective clothing device may also have built-in sensors that sense and record impact/G-forces to the chest area and the GPS location of the device. Wireless alerts may be automatically sent to approved people (i.e., parents) when an impact has exceeded a predetermined limit, the alerts containing information regarding the impact and/or GPS location of the device.
