Title:
BRAIDED CONDUCTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/005174
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a technique for reducing cases of wires becoming separated from each other in a braided conductor that has been cut short. An elongated braided conductor (10) formed by braiding a plurality of wires (11) into a cylindrical shape is cut to a desired cutting length (L1), whereby a short braided conductor (1) is obtained. Each of the wires (11) is formed, for example, of a conductor such as a bare annealed copper wire, an oxygen-free annealed copper wire, or a tin-plated annealed copper wire. The helical pitch (P1) of the wires (11) in the braided conductor (1) is preferably from two to less than five times the cutting length (L1), and further preferably from two to three times the cutting length (L1).
