Abstract:
Provided is a brake control device for controlling a brake device of the non-excitation-actuated type, the brake control device comprising: a power supply which outputs a voltage; a brake control unit which outputs a brake control signal; an opening/closing unit which opens and closes an electric circuit between the power supply and the brake device according to the brake control signal; a state detection unit which outputs a state detection signal indicating an electric potential state of an electric circuit between the opening/closing unit and the brake device; an abnormality detection unit which detects whether an occurrence of an abnormality is absent or present on the basis of a combination of a content of the brake control signal and a content of the state detection signal; a brake lock switch which is connected between input terminals of the brake device so as to be connected in parallel with the brake device; and a brake lock switch control unit which closes the brake lock switch when the occurrence of the abnormality is detected by the abnormality detection unit.
