Abstract:
The output pressure of a load-responsive vale (121) is controlled by a pressure-intensifying switchable solenoid valve (111). In the normal braking operation, the output pressure of the load-responsive valve (121) is intensified by the pressure-intensifying switchable solenoid valve (111). The output pressure is then adjusted to a target pressure by a brake control valve (131,132) and further supplied via an intermediate valve (141,142) to the brake cylinder (21,24). In the emergency braking operation, the pressure-intensifying switchable solenoid valve (111) is cut off and the output pressure is supplied via the brake control valve (131,132) and the intermediate valve (141,142) to the brake cylinder (21,24). In case of possible extended braking distance, the pressure-intensifying switchable solenoid valve (111) is turned on to intensify the braking force.
