Abstract:
The present method relates to a brake device and a braking method. According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is the brake device used in a negative brake system, comprising: a service brake line capable of supplying or collecting pressure to apply or release braking force of a service brake; a parking brake line capable of supplying or collecting pressure to apply or release braking force of a parking brake; and a control unit for detecting whether the service brake of a driver is in operation, and controlling the collection of pressure of the parking brake, when the service brake line malfunctions.
