Abstract:
A brake device for an elevator hoist formed detachable from a hoist body and allowing a mounting part to be rotated in 90-degree increments relative to a rotating shaft to install the hoist at such a position that a brake can be easily adjusted, wherein the mounting part of the brake device (4) for the elevator hoist installed on the rotating shaft (3) of the elevator hoist (2) is installed so as to be rotated in 90-degree increments relative to the rotating shaft (3) of the hoist (2) so that the mounting position of the brake device (4) can be changed in 90-degree increments. In addition, the brake device (4) is formed as a brake mechanism having characteristics varied by gravity.
