Abstract:
At the time of control-on of a brake control device, an ECU acquires, on the basis of a master cylinder pressure detected by a master pressure sensor, a front wheel target braking force and a rear wheel target braking force from operation amount-front/rear wheel target braking force characteristics stored in a storage unit, and controls a hydraulic pressure unit so that hydraulic pressures corresponding to the acquired front wheel target braking force and rear wheel target braking force can be respectively supplied to a front wheel brake and a rear wheel brake. At the time of control-off of the brake control device, a hydraulic pressure generated by a tandem master cylinder is directly supplied to the front wheel brake and the rear wheel brake. Fluid pressure control is implemented such that the operation amount-both wheel target braking force characteristics in the control-on state become equal to the operation amount-both wheel target braking force characteristics in the control-off state.
