Abstract:
Provided are: a brake device, a brake system, and a master cylinder which can detect the amount of movement of a piston with excellent accuracy while suppressing manufacturing costs. The brake device is provided with: a master cylinder housing having an inner cylinder; a piston which is provided in the cylinder and is movable in the axial line direction of the cylinder; a magnet which is partially provided in the circumferential direction, that is, the circumferential direction of the axial line of the piston inside the cylinder, and which is displaced according to the movement of the piston; a detection part which is provided in the master cylinder housing and detects the amount of movement of the piston; and a rotation restricting mechanism which is provided in the cylinder and restricts the movement of the magnet in the circumferential direction.
