Abstract:
A brake device and a wheel unit. The brake device is used for braking a wheel part (1) capable of rotating with respect to a chassis (6), and comprises: a housing (4) capable of connecting to the chassis (6) in an anti-rotation manner; a pressure plate (17) and a counter pressure plate (18) capable of frictionally connecting to or separating from each other, the pressure plate (17) being connected to the housing (4) in an anti-rotation manner; a hydraulic actuation mechanism for actuating the pressure plate (17) to move axially so that pressure plate (17) and the counter pressure plate (18) are connected to each other; and a thrust bearing, comprising an outer ring (7) and an inner ring (8) capable for rotating with respect to each other, the outer ring (7) being connected to the counter pressure plate (18) and being capable of connecting to the wheel part (1) in an anti-rotation manner, and the outer ring (7) being configured in a meandering manner. The wheel unit comprises a wheel assembly and the brake device. The brake device features a simple structure, a small axial size, a small occupied space, a low failure rate, and easy assembly and disassembly.
