Abstract:
The brake disc for railroad vehicles is equipped with a donut-shaped disc-like plate section, the front surface of which serves as a sliding surface, and multiple fin sections which protrude radially on the back surface of the plate section. The plate section is fastened to a wheel. Ribs are provided between adjacent fin sections, and slits are provided in a direction from the wheel-side end part of said ribs toward the back surface of the disc section, so deformation caused by the heat of friction can be suppressed.
