Abstract:
A brake dust measurement device (100) for measuring brake dust generated from a brake (Z) is provided with: a chamber (10) that houses the brake (Z); a supply duct (11) that is connected to the chamber (10) and supplies gas through a supply port (O1) to the brake (Z); a discharge duct (12) that is connected to the chamber (10) and discharges, together with gas, brake dust flowing into a discharge port (O2); and a measurement mechanism that collects and measures the brake dust flowing through the discharge duct (12). The brake (Z) is disposed vertically below the supply port (O1), and the discharge port (O2) is disposed vertically below the brake (Z). The minimum diameter of the supply duct (11) is less than the maximum diameter of the chamber (10). A brake pad (Z1) constituting the brake (Z) is located within the supply port (O1) when viewed in the vertical direction.
