Abstract:
The present invention provides a brake dust measurement system 100 which allows accurately measuring the amount of generated brake dust and in which a sample vehicle having a brake B is arranged in a chamber 2 and brake dust generated from the brake B is measured, the system comprising: a sampling unit 3 that samples air in the chamber 2; an elemental analysis unit 4 that carries out elemental analysis on sample air that is sampled by the sampling unit 3; a storage unit 51 that stores information on contents of one or more elements contained in the brake B; and a calculation unit 53 that calculates the amount of brake dust that is contained in the sample air on the basis of the elemental analysis result of the elemental analysis unit 4 and the information on the contents of the elements.
