Abstract:
A brake pad damping plate comprising an artificial graphite damping plate (1). The artificial graphite damping plate (1) is an isosceles trapezoid. A lower base (12) of the artificial graphite damping plate (1) is an arc. A first protrusion (5) is provided at the left part of the lower base. A second protrusion (6) is provided at the right part of the lower base. A first avoidance hole (2), a second avoidance hole (3), and a third avoidance hole (4) are provided sequentially from left to right along the lower base (12) of the artificial graphite damping plate (1). A fourth avoidance hole (7) is provided above the second avoidance hole (3). A third protrusion (8) is provided at the middle of an upper base (11) of the artificial graphite damping plate (1). The second avoidance hole (3), the fourth avoidance hole (7), and the third protrusion (8) are arranged on the axis of symmetry of the artificial graphite damping plate (1). The damping plate is capable of cushioning an impact for a brake pad and a caliper during an emergency braking, thus protecting the brake pad and the caliper, reducing brake vibrations, and enhancing comfort for a vehicle occupant.
