Abstract:
The regulator comprises a casing (1), a first worm drive with worm gear pinion (2) located in a bore in the casing, the worm screw (3) being mounted on shaft (4) in casing (1) on two supports (5, 6), a second worm drive, the screw (12) of which is rotatably mounted on shaft (13), the worm gear pinion (11) being connected with worm screw (3), a free-running coupling with a driven element connected with worm screw (12), and a drive mechanism consisting of a lever (19) mounted on shaft (13) of worm screw (12). The drive mechanism provides a kinematic link between the coupling drive element (16) and a fixed part of the vehicle, and incorporates a free space (30) corresponding to the normal play in the brake. The worm screw (12) has a tail section (14) housed in the bore of casing (1). The end of the tail section (14) projecting out of the casing is shaped. The worm screw (12) and the lever (19) comprise components (20 or 21) and (25 or 28) respectively for securing them in an axial direction with respect to the casing (1).
