Abstract:

A brake system for a car guide rail of a traction elevator, and a detection method thereof. The system comprises a car state sensor group, a detection device, and a speed limiter and a safety gear associated with each other. The safety gear comprises a base (4), a gear body (5), and an elastic positioning device. The speed limiter and the safety gear are associated with each other. A stopper (51) is provided on the gear body (5). A left inner wedge (6) and a right inner wedge (6) are provided in the gear body (5), and an outer wedge (7) is provided on the outer side of the inner wedge (6). The base (4) is provided with a limiting mechanism for limiting the positions of the inner and outer wedges (6, 7). The elastic positioning device enables the large ends of the inner and outer wedges (6, 7) to be distant from each other in the vertical direction. The limiting mechanism limits the inner and outer wedges (6, 7) at the initial positions in the vertical direction. When the rotation speed of a driving shaft (2) reaches a rated speed, the driving shaft (2) is engaged with a driven shaft (3) by means of a centrifugal clutch structure, to drive the gear body (5) to move. The stopper (51) on the gear body (5) enables the large ends of the inner and outer wedges (6, 7) to get close to each other, so that the two inner wedges (6) get close to each other to enter a braking state. Thus, the car has high safety.
