Abstract:
Provided are a brake (7) used for a drum clothes washing machine, and a drum clothes washing machine (100), said brake (7) comprising: a brake rotor (322), said brake rotor (322) being disposed on a second shaft (32); a brake seat (71), said brake seat (71) being provided with a slideway (711); a brake pawl (75), said brake pawl (75) being disposed on the brake seat (71) and switchable between a tightened state in which the brake rotor (322) is held tightly and an opened state in which the brake rotor (322) is released; a brake lever (72), said brake lever (72) being slidably fitted to the slideway (711) between an extended position and a retracted position; when the brake lever (72) is in the extended position, the brake pawl (75) is caused to switch to the tightened state; when the brake lever (72) is in the retracted position, the brake pawl (75) is caused to switch to the opened position; a brake actuator (73), said brake actuator (73) being mounted on the brake seat (71) and drivingly connected to the brake lever (72); the brake actuator (73) drives the brake lever to move between an extended position and a retracted position.
