Abstract:
A brake according to the present invention is provided with: a fixed member; a movable member that is movable with respect to the fixed member; a friction member that is provided to the movable member; a member which is to be braked and to which the friction member is pressed; and an urging member and an urging delay member that press the member to be braked by applying a pressing force to the friction member through application of a pressing force to the movable member so as to separate away from the fixed member. The urging delay member applies the pressing force but with a delay from the urging member.
