Abstract:
A braking control device, provided with: a case member fixed to a master cylinder; a first electric motor fixed to the case member; a second electric motor fixed to the case member separately from the first electric motor; an input rod that is mechanically connected to a braking operation member and that moves in a linear manner; an output rod capable of pressing a piston in the master cylinder and moving in a linear manner and parallel to the center axis of the input rod; a differential mechanism into which the output of the first electric motor and the output of the second electric motor are inputted, the differential mechanism being provided in the case member and allowing the input rod and the output rod to move relative to each other; and a controller for controlling the output of the first electric motor and the output of the second electric motor to thereby independently control the force acting on the input rod and the displacement of the output rod.
