Abstract:
This braking control device for a vehicle comprises: a malfunction detection unit 163 that detects malfunctions of a first stroke sensor 41a or a second stroke sensor 41b; a storage unit 164 that stores a first stroke U1 and a second stroke U2; a stroke derivation unit 165 for first calculations that derives, from the first stroke U1 and the second stroke U2, an average value L for deriving a target deceleration Gd before the point in time when the malfunction detection unit 163 detected a malfunction; a stroke derivation unit 167 for second calculations that derives, from the average value L and the second stroke U2 (the first stroke U1), an additional value K for deriving the target deceleration Gd at or after the point in time when the malfunction was detected; and a target deceleration setting unit 168 that sets the target deceleration Gd from the average value L or the additional value K.
