Abstract:
Provided is a braking device (100) comprising: an extendably provided connecting member (60) that connects ends (31) of a pair of link arms (30); and an adjuster (70) that extends the connecting member (60). The adjuster (70) has: an extension mechanism (71) that has an extension shaft (72) in which an external thread (72a) is formed and an extension nut (73) in which an internal thread (73a) to be threaded together with the external thread (72a) is formed; and a resistance imparting part (90) that imparts resistance to the rotation of the extension nut (73). The resistance imparting part (90) has: a sliding contact part (91) that has a fitting gap (92a) and an inner periphery that is in sliding contact with the outer periphery of the extension nut (73); and a coil spring (94) that energizes the sliding contact part (91) in the direction closing the fitting gap (92a) and imparts a friction force to the extension nut (73).
