Abstract:

A braking force controller for supplying high pressure working fluid to a wheel cylinder quickly when brake assist control starting conditions are satisfied. The braking force controller has an emergency braking judging means which judges the emergency braking operation state of the driver, a high pressure source which generates a pressure higher than the hydraulic pressure generated by a master cylinder, and a supply means which supplies the working fluid of the high pressure source to the wheel cylinder. A driving means which drives the high pressure source before the hydraulic pressure is supplied by the supply means is provided.
