Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to automatically and easily verify the braking performance of a press machine. The device comprises speed detection means, stop command detection means, stop time measurement means, maximum stop time calculation means, and evaluation means. The speed detection means detects a driving speed of a slide. The stop time measurement means detects a command for stopping the slide. The stop time measurement means measures a stop time until the slide stops when the stop command is detected. The maximum stop time calculation means calculates an estimated stop time in the case of the slide being driven at a maximum driving speed based on the driving speed and stop time of the slide after the detection of the stop command. The evaluation means evaluates the braking performance by comparing the estimated stop time calculated by the maximum stop time calculation means with a preset threshold value.
