Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of obtaining a braking support control device with which, by changing an appropriate control characteristic in accordance with a future prediction accuracy, it is possible to prevent sudden braking when the future prediction accuracy is high, and to prevent erroneous activation when the future prediction accuracy is low. A braking support control device (100) according to the present invention is a device for performing braking support control for a host vehicle in accordance with the probability of a collision between the host vehicle and an obstacle, and is characterized by comprising: an index calculating unit (105) for calculating an index defining a future prediction accuracy of relative information relating to the host vehicle and the obstacle; and a threshold setting unit (106) for changing a threshold for determining whether to perform braking support control, in accordance with the index.
