Abstract:
The invention relates to a braking and/or wheel locking device comprising: a control shaft (7) which extends through the axial cavity (6) in the hub and which is equipped with a first threading (11) in a first direction and a second threading (12) in a second direction; a first friction roller (13) which co-operates with the first threading (11) by means of a first tapping; a second friction roller (14) which co-operates with the second threading (12) by means of a second tapping; means (35-40) for retaining the friction rollers such as to prevent the rotation thereof while enabling movement in the opposite direction parallel to the longitudinal axis (8) when the control shaft pivots; and an element (3) which is solidly connected to the wheel (1) between the friction rollers and which, when the shaft is in a first angular position, is in contact with the rollers, but, when the shaft is in a second angular position, is not in contact with the rollers.
