Abstract:
A branch tube connection device to which a branch tube can be connected and that has
a branch case (1) made up of split bodies capable of being water-tightly installed on
an existing tube (K) and also has a gate valve (2) connected to the branch case (1),
incorporating a valve body, and connectable to the branch tube. The branch case
(1) is rotatably installed on the existing tube (K). Split surfaces of the branch
case (1) are connected to each other by flanges, and the split surfaces are laid
in the direction of the axis of the branch tube, or in a substantially horizontal direction,
and fastened by a fastener (3). The fastener (3) connects the branch case (1)
and the gate valve (2) with a seal member (5) in between them.
