Title:
BRAZING SHEET FOR HEAT EXCHANGER, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAID SHEET
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/002315
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An aluminum alloy brazing sheet for a heat exchanger, and a method for manufacturing same, the brazing sheet having as a core material an Al alloy comprising 0.6-2.0 percent by mass of Mn, 0.05-0.5 percent by mass of Fe, 0.4-0.9 percent by mass of Si, and 0.02-4.0 percent by mass of Zn, the balance comprising Al and unavoidable impurities; and having as a surface material on both sides of the core material an Al alloy comprising 6.0-13.0 percent by mass of Si, 0.05-0.80 percent by mass of Fe, and 0.05-0.45 percent by mass of Cu, the balance comprising Al and unavoidable impurities. The ratio (A/B) of the number density (A) (grains/mm2) of Al-Mn-Fe or Al-Mn-Si precipitates in the core material, the precipitates having a grain size of at least 0.1 µm and no more than 3.0 µm, and the number density (B) (grains/mm2) of precipitates having a grain size of at least 3.0 µm satisfying the relation 50≤A/B≤500. The average crystal particle size of the core material in the longitudinal cross-section of a fin, after brazing heating, is at least 100 µm.
