The present invention aims to provide a simple-structured and high quality breakaway system for a vehicle, by means of the rotation of a moving bracket rotating a pair of rotating retainers, so as to damage a braking pin that is connected to a pedal arm for separating the pedal arm from a support bracket. The present invention relates to the breakaway system for the vehicle for separating a break pedal by means of the impact load from a collision or a crash, and comprises: the support bracket, which is coupled to an indoor dashboard in the vehicle and is provided with a mounting hole on each of the surfaces of two sides which face each other; the pedal arm which is provided with a rotary shaft and arranged between the two sides of the support bracket; the pair of rotating retainers, which are inserted into each of the mounting holes from the outside and arranged so as to be supported by extension from both ends of the rotary shaft by the braking pin; a moving bracket for simultaneously rotating the one pair of rotating retainers; and a pushing means, which is arranged between the support bracket and the pedal arm, for inwardly pushing the pedal arm indoors, wherein the one pair of rotating retainers rotate in accordance with the rotation of the moving bracket to slide out to the exterior of the side of the support bracket and simultaneously damages the braking pin.
