Abstract:
A breaker 1 comprises: a fixed contact 21; a movable piece 4 having an elastic part 43 that elastically deforms and a movable contact 41 at one end part of said elastic part 43, the movable contact 41 being pressed so as to contact the fixed contact 21; a thermally reactive element 5 that operates the movable piece 4 so that the movable contact 41 separates from the fixed contact 21 by deforming according to a temperature change; a case 10 that accommodates the movable piece 4 and the thermally reactive element 5; and a terminal piece 2 or 3 electrically connected to an external circuit. The case 10 has a side wall 11 extending along the longitudinal direction of the elastic part 43. The terminal piece 2 or 3 has a projecting part 27 or 37 projecting outward of the case 10 from the side wall 11. The side wall 11 has a recess 12 or 13 that is depressed inward of the case 10 at the periphery of the projecting part 27 or 37.
