Abstract:
This breaker comprises: a fixed contact; a movable piece 4 including a resilient portion 44 and a movable contact 41 at one end 44e of the resilient portion 44; a heat-responsive element that deforms in conjunction with a change in temperature; a case main body in which is formed an accommodating recessed portion for accommodating the fixed contact, the movable piece 4, and the heat-responsive element; and a lid member 8 which is integrated with the movable piece 4, is affixed to the case main body, and covers the accommodating recessed portion. The lid member 8 has an affixing surface 82 which is affixed to the case main body, the resilient portion 44 protrudes from the affixing surface 82 by a first protrusion amount P1 toward the case main body, and the lid member 8 includes protruding portions 84 which project from the affixing surface 82 by a second protrusion amount P2, greater than the first protrusion amount P1, toward the case main body.
