The invention relates to a breathing mask device for supplying a respiratory gas to a patient. The invention also relates to a frontal support device therefor. The inventive breathing mask device comprises a curved body, a sealing lip device for application on the face area of the user of the mask, a respiratory gas line for the supply of respiratory gas to the interior of the mask which is connected to the opening of the nose and/or mouth of the user of the mask and which is defined by the curved body. The inventive breathing mask device is characterized by an application structure which is used for the application of the sealing lip device together with the curved body. The application structure is provided with a carrier section on which a respiratory gas line element embodied as a docking port is detachably arranged. The inventive frontal support device comprises a support element provided in an application position of the breathing mask for supporting the frontal area of a user of the mask in addition to a holder for holding the support element a tiltable manner. As a result high adaptability is achieved with respect to the most diverse type of facial structures even when the support element is comparatively large.
