Abstract:
Provided is a bridge construction method comprising: a main girder construction step in which main girder parts (2a1, 2b1) are successively constructed for each construction block of main girders (2a, 2b) that are divided in the bridge axis direction; and a floor slab construction step in which a floor slab (5) is successively constructed for each construction block. For each construction block, the main girder construction step is executed before the floor slab construction step. In the main girder construction step, the main girder parts (2a2, 2b2) of a construction block to be newly constructed are constructed while moving mobile work vehicles (6a, 6b) that are supported by the main girder parts (2a1, 2b1) of the construction block that was already constructed, and then the main girder parts (2a2, 2b2) are suspended and supported on a diagonal member 3. In the floor slab construction step, the floor slab (5) is constructed, without using the mobile work vehicles (6a, 6b), by using the main girder parts (2a1, 2b1) of the same construction block that was already constructed.
