Abstract:
A bridge expansion and retraction apparatus comprises a first beam body, a second beam body and an expansion and retraction component. A construction joint is formed between the first beam body and the second beam body. A beam end of the first beam body and a beam end of the second beam body are provided with mounting slots for mounting the expansion and retraction component. A supporting member is mounted in the construction joint and arranged below the expansion and retraction component. Elastic sealing members are poured in the mounting slots and between the expansion and retraction component and the supporting member. The present invention further discloses an installation method of the bridge expansion and retraction apparatus. After the bridge expansion and retraction apparatus is installed, since the elastic sealing members have good contraction deformation properties, the requirement for relative displacement between bridges can be met. Meanwhile, the material has good bonding performance and is capable of filling the gap between the expansion and retraction apparatus and the slots, thereby preventing water on the bridge surface from seeping and leaking from the expansion and retraction apparatus.
